Privacy, Compliance & Control

Open where it matters. Controlled where it counts.

Design financial infrastructure where identity can travel, policy can execute, sensitive data can remain private and every decision can be verified from the network to the individual account.

Build control into infrastructure

Make Trust Programmable

Offchain helps institutions turn identity, compliance, privacy and control into shared infrastructure so approved participants can move across products more easily, policies can act before transactions settle and sensitive information does not need to become public.

  • 01 / 04

    Verify once, participate everywhere

Connect reusable identity credentials and verified attributes to accounts, allowing participants to prove who they are or what they are eligible to do across participating products without repeatedly exposing the same information.

  • 02 / 04

    Turn policy into execution

Translate sanctions restrictions, investor eligibility, transfer rules, approvals and product-access requirements into programmable controls across infrastructure, applications and accounts.

  • 03 / 04

    Prove compliance without exposing data

Use zero-knowledge proofs and selective-disclosure approaches to verify required facts while limiting exposure of sensitive identity, position or transaction data.

  • 04 / 04

    Create evidence by default

Maintain attributable records of permissions, policy changes, transaction decisions and rejected activity to support oversight, investigations and reporting.

Power your infrastructure for scale

Identity, Policy and Privacy Across the Stack

  • Reusable identity and portable eligibility

Connect identity and credential providers so verified attributes can be reused across approved products and environments. Each operator retains control over which credentials it accepts, when they expire and when access must be revoked.

  • Protocol-Level Transaction Filtering

Apply institution-defined address and transaction policies before execution on dedicated chains. Integrate specialist screening providers and update restricted-address policies as requirements change.

  • Configurable Participation and Visibility

Choose public, permissioned or hybrid participation models. Define who can transact, access particular products or functions and view sensitive activity, while preserving authorized access for operators, auditors or supervisors.

  • Compliance-as-code

Express eligibility, transfer, approval and product-access conditions as programmable rules at the network, contract and account levels. Enforce the right policy each time an approved participant attempts an action.

the offchain value

One Partner from Policy Design to Production Controls

Offchain supports to translate the agreed model into infrastructure, application and account controls. Validate the system with technical, operational, security and compliance stakeholders through testing, launch and ongoing operation.

  • Identity and Control Architecture

Map participants, credentials, regulatory requirements, data flows and oversight responsibilities into a practical operating model before selecting the technical controls.

  • Arbitrum Platform

Deploy public, permissioned or dedicated infrastructure with configurable participation, transaction policies, data availability, transaction ordering, governance and economics. On dedicated chains, integrate protocol-level compliance filtering that can evaluate defined policies before execution.

  • ZeroDev

Apply permissions, session keys, approvals, sponsored transactions and policy-aware execution at the account layer making institutional controls part of the experience rather than a separate operational process

  • Privacy and Compliance Integration

Connect reusable-identity, KYC, sanctions-screening, Travel Rule, transaction-monitoring, custody and reporting providers selected by the institution. Integrate zero-knowledge or selective-disclosure technology where the workflow requires proof without broad data exposure.

Use Cases

Control Designed for Real Financial Activity

Arbitrum

Controls Built into Transaction Infrastructure

Arbitrum compliance filtering for dedicated chains can apply customer-defined address policies before execution across both the sequencer and state-transition paths, including transactions submitted through the Delayed Inbox. Restricted transactions can be rejected before block inclusion and generate reports to support review.

Application-level confidentiality is available today through specialized privacy integrations, including zero-knowledge, fully homomorphic encryption and trusted-execution approaches. These systems can limit what is disclosed while preserving defined access for operators, auditors or regulators. Network-wide confidentiality for dedicated chains is an emerging capability and should not be presented as generally available until confirmed for the deployment.
